Around the web

Another european-based community is around at Warhammer Online Movies – I think it’s quite brave of them to set up when there really aren’t many clips to show due to the NDA but they also host a blog and some forums to keep people busy! They’ve collected all the official video blogs and screenshots too.

Rowhin, Mongoose, Nerror, Snorri, Krulta, Vikingkingq, and Xurre have co-authored a set of articles over at the Warhammer Alliance forums on The Layman’s Guide to Important Warhammer Characters. Awesome work, guys/gals!

Warhammer Online: Age of Remembering – a memory flash game by Pantso

vayasen, an old school DaoC player, wonders on Freddyshouse if MMORPGS are being too dumbed down

GameSetWatch has an interesting thoughtpiece by Simon Parkin about scoring for games reviews. It’s led to further cool reads over at Kotaku and Rock, Paper, Shotgun.

Just over 3500 people already voted in Warhammer Alliance’s class survey (it’s still not too late for you to go vote). Over at The Greenskin, Snafzg analyses the results in depth (with a spreadsheet) and is concerned about class imbalance. Keen weighs in with his take on the survey at Keen and Graev’s Gaming Blog.

Lastly, don’t miss Syp’s articles about MMO cloning and bad guild names over at Waaagh.
